Worship resumes before the temple is rebuilt

The returned exiles gather in Jerusalem during the seventh month. Jeshua and Zerubbabel rebuild the altar, restore burnt offerings, and keep the Feast of Tabernacles. Although the temple foundation has not yet been laid and neighboring peoples cause fear, regular worship begins again.
