Story in this passage

Esther exposes Haman

At the second banquet, Esther tells the king that her people have been marked for destruction. When the king demands to know who is responsible, she identifies Haman. The king leaves in anger, returns to find Haman pleading at Esther’s couch, and orders him executed. Haman is hanged on the gallows he had prepared for Mordecai.
