Instructions for occupying Canaan

On the plains of Moab, God commands Israel to drive out Canaan’s inhabitants, destroy their idolatrous sites, and divide the land by lot. Failure to remove the inhabitants will leave them as barbs and bring God’s judgment on Israel.
